Apparently being James Bond really does amount to nothing more than being extremely, extremely lucky (or a cheat). The odds of this are so astronomical, it is silly to even pretend I could calculate it.
There's no skill there. Everybody is in a rigged position with rigged hands. There is no way this hand would go down in real life (ik, its just a movie) without somebody calling "cheat!"

@Muchodelcrazy this would be the point where betting decisions need to be considered. The choices you make during poker hands largely determine what the result is. Obviously this movie round of poker was carefully doctored for dramatic effect.

According to Cracked, it's 1 in 158,551,976. I usually don't mind when slightly improbable things happen in movies, but this particular scene was so unrealistic it was just pathetic. The only disappointing thing in this otherwise badass movie. ^^

For the drama, he showed last knowing he had the nuts. Of course in the real games, as soon as the last guy called, he shoulda turned over his cards and showed the straight flush
